of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to CCHA are deductible under Section 170 of the Code. CCHA is also qualified
to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
***AUCTION TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE ENRIQUE HENAO SCHOLARSHIP FUND***
Centro Cultural Hispano Americano is having an auction to raise money for the Enrique Henao Art Scholarship Fund. Artist, Jose Luis Rodriguez Guerra has been so generous in donating one of his lithographs to CCHA. The highest bidder will have the opportunity to select from one of the six lithographs. The minimum bid is $1,800.00. The winner will receive a tax donation receipt from CCHA and their name and photograph will be placed at the next upcoming CCHA event, the concert of Enrique Henao. After the auction, any lithograph can be bought at $2,500.00.

Each lithograph measures 35" x 45".
JOSE LUIS RODRIGUEZ GUERRA is from Mexico. He has skillfully advanced the arts in our region with his artwork and as a member of the Seattle Arts Commission, and as a creator, director and founder of the Art Attack/ Alternative Spaces in Boise and Seattle. He has exhibited and managed his artwork in more than 100 art institutions. Rodriguez worked with the Capital Improvement for the City of Seattle, and was a member responsible for the "Public Art Collection" and the city "Portable Art Collection." He created and introduced, for the first time, 8 exhibitions to the Seattle public "Eyes on Public Art" part of the 30 year old art collection of the city of Seattle Art Commission. His artwork is monumental and transcends all cultures. He draws on spirituality in his paintings of solemn, lone figures on wooden boxes with rounded edges, making the figures appear almost as if they are in the room.
